Lomas Altas 132
Guadalajara, Jalisco, 2005
This residence unfolds around a central courtyard.
The design takes advantage of the lot length by separating public areas from the private areas through a lengthy courtyard-entryway.
This selection of courtyards creates an architectural promenade that culminates at the entrance and vestibule. The common areas are located on the ground floor; the private areas are on the upper floor.
The layout allows for ample ventilation and provides natural light to all spaces, particularly those overlooking the central courtyard, without compromising privacy.
The living room features a double-height space, and by taking advantage of the slope of the land, it was designed to serve as a study-library.
