Corporate building on Mexico Avenue
Guadalajara, Jalisco, 2007-2008
An office building project was carried out in one of the city’s busiest commercial and economic districts.
The project consists of an eight-story building with four levels of underground parking.
The north-south orientation of the site led to a redesign of the layout to maximize usable space and create a memorable image for corporate clients.
The layout is defined by a core of facilities on the western side of the lot, providing protection from the sun and allowing for open-plan spaces.
This façade features a metal lattice that allows for the opening of windows and terraces while shielding them from direct sunlight.
The project includes several cantilevered floors; this solution breaks away from the “box” concept and creates a series of terraces around different levels.
