Bar-Cabinet

Guadalajara, Jalisco, 1997

Constrained by the existing space, the goal was to design a bar that would harmoniously integrate into the living room while allowing for free movement between the common areas and the kitchen.

The unit consists of two extruded planes, one solid (the wine cooler and refrigerator) and the other translucent (the bar).

The upper section of the bar is crowned by a curved plank that serves as both lighting and a wine glass holder.
